Detective Meal
The SpeurMael is a four-hour package that combines an exciting scavenger hunt through Delft’s old city center with an atmospheric medieval Mael at Stadsherberg de Mol. It’s ideal for groups on a budget.
You and your guests will be welcomed at Stadsherberg de Mol with a cup of coffee or tea, accompanied by Kruytkoek (a type of cookie), after which you’ll receive instructions for the scavenger hunt. Equipped with a map and the necessary clues, you’ll then set off in groups of approximately six people through Delft’s old city center. The scavenger hunt concludes back at Stadsherberg de Mol.
Depending on the day of the week and occupancy at Stadsherberg de Mol, we will then provide a medieval Mael for you in our charming tavern or one of our authentic saloons, which consists of the following:
- Traditional Medieval Bread with Herbal sauce
- Witches Soup
- Three types of roast beef: capon, spicy spiced sausage and Flemish rib steak served with Burgundian potatoes and a salad
The package includes 2 Dranck ducats, which can be used to order drinks during the meal (draft beer, wine, juice, and soft drinks). The SpeurMael can be organized for groups of 20 or more on any day.
The cost of the 4-hour SpeurMael depends on the size of your group and is: For 30 people: €39.50 per person For 60 people: €37.50 per person If your group size differs from the above number of guests, we charge €36 for each additional guest and €5 for each missing guest.
