Minstrel Night

Almost every week, Stadsherberg de Mol hosts a Troubadour Evening. While you enjoy a medieval menu, a troubadour sings and plays songs from the past and present.

Entering the Stadsherberg feels like stepping back four centuries. Our hosts welcome you in medieval attire. You’ll find your table by candlelight. Foaming Delftsch Kuyten Beer is poured from large jugs, and you’ll be served a hearty meal.

The Friday Troubadour Evening begins at 7:00 PM and ends around 10:30 PM.
The Saturday Troubadour Evening begins at 6:00 PM and ends around 9:30 PM.

Reservations are available for groups of two or more. The cost of this 3.5-hour evening depends on the menu you choose. If desired, you can expand the menu with one or more traditional Dutch menu additions (order in advance for the entire party). The contribution towards the Troubadour’s costs is €8 per person.

The total cost of the Troubadour Evening is the sum of your choices: the price of the chosen menu, the Troubadour contribution of €8 per person, and how you pay for drinks.
For example, if you choose the Tavern Menu without Drinks Package, the cost is €34.50 plus €8 = €42.50 per person, plus drinks (calculated afterward).

Medieval costumes such as a Bonte Vest and matching Velvet Cap can be rented for just €5 per person.
